In a significant move to improve the healthcare system, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate has decided to invest 12 million euros to create a new medical school in Kaiserslautern. This school will collaborate with the private Semmelweis University in Budapest, aiming to train a new generation of doctors.

Details of the Collaboration

The study program is designed so that students will initially spend three years of their pre-clinical courses at Semmelweis University and then transfer to Kaiserslautern for clinical training.
