Kaliningrad, which today is part of Russian territory, was once one of the most important cities in Germany. This city is renowned for its philosophical history, especially its connection to Immanuel Kant, the great philosopher. However, after World War II and border changes, the name of this city was altered to Kaliningrad in memory of a Russian political figure.
This renaming not only reflects political transformations but also signifies social and cultural changes. Today, this city has become an attractive destination for tourists with a blend of various cultures. But have these changes been beneficial for the local people?
