After a tense night and the complete closure of the A81 highway between Böblingen-Hulb and Böblingen-Ost towards Stuttgart, drivers can breathe a sigh of relief. As of 8 AM, one lane of this highway has reopened to vehicles, and traffic is slowly returning to normal.
Delays Until the End of the Day
However, according to officials, drivers should expect to wait until 10 PM for the second lane to be opened as well. This disruption was caused by heat-related damage to temporary road sections that required repairs. During this time, drivers were forced to reroute through Sindelfingen.
This situation not only impacted daily traffic but also raised concerns about the safety and quality of the roads. Nevertheless, the gradual reopening of the road brings hope for drivers to continue on their routes.
