In the early hours of Monday, Kyiv witnessed another deadly attack from Russia, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 people. In this attack, the military governor of Kyiv, Tymur Tokatchenko, stated in an online announcement that "nine dead and 46 injured" have been confirmed, among the injured are five children. Another victim has also been reported in Bucha, located northwest of Kyiv.

Rescue Operations Continue and Warnings

Tokatchenko also warned that the number of casualties may rise, adding: "Rescue operations are still ongoing, and unfortunately, this figure is not final." According to him, the attacks were carried out using "ballistic missiles," and while air raid sirens were sounding, reporters heard more than ten explosions and saw bright lights in the sky.

He continued, "No words can ease this pain." These attacks, which led to four fires in residential buildings, occurred in places where people were sleeping alone at night.

Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, announced that air defense systems are active and urged people to stay in shelters. This attack marks the second deadly incident in Kyiv in less than a week.

Meanwhile, a Ukrainian attack on the city of Sevastopol in the illegally annexed Crimean Peninsula resulted in power outages in the area. The Moscow-appointed governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, stated in an online announcement: "After the attack on energy infrastructure near Sevastopol, our city was temporarily without electricity."

In Moscow, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced that air defense had shot down several waves of drones heading towards the capital. Russia has been attacking Ukraine every night for nearly four years, and during this time, the Ukrainian army has recently increased its counterattacks towards Russia, targeting oil facilities and fuel depots, leading to fuel shortages in the country.
