In recent days, severe storms in the Meran area of South Tyrol have caused devastating floods. Thousands of cubic meters of mud poured into the valleys, putting residents in a critical situation.
Terror and Flight
The incident was so sudden that many residents had only a few minutes to save their lives and were forced to leave their homes. Some jumped out of windows and, while hearing the roar of the water, ran towards safe places. This situation instilled fear and terror in their hearts.
Some residents, after fleeing, described their difficult and desperate moments and shared an experience they would never forget. These floods not only threatened people's lives but also caused serious damage to local infrastructure.
