During his recent trip to Brazil, the German Foreign Minister addressed the issue of attracting foreign labor and criticized the existing concerns regarding discrimination against migrants in his country. He emphasized that Germany has a strong need for skilled labor and noted that some extreme reactions in German society towards migrants are not only problematic but also considered unnecessary and undesirable.

The Foreign Minister further referred to the issue of crime among some migrants and stated that although this matter should not be overlooked, it should not be used as an excuse to create an atmosphere filled with fear and hatred towards all migrants. He emphasized that such attitudes only deepen the problems and instead of helping to improve the situation, they increase tensions.
