Ukraine's Incursion into the Heart of Russia; New Attacks on Oil Facilities!

In a controversial and significant development, Ukraine has once again targeted Russian oil facilities in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. These attacks, conducted more than 1000 kilometers from Ukrainian territory, have reportedly involved 67 drones, according to local officials. Although this claim has not yet been independently verified, it clearly indicates the intensity and scale of this operation.

Drone Crashes and Their Consequences

Reports indicate that some of the drones have crashed in the port of Vysotsk, which is one of the most important oil loading terminals in the region. Additionally, videos released on Telegram channels suggest that the oil port of St. Petersburg may also have been targeted. However, city officials have yet to comment on this matter.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has only confirmed the attacks in the suburbs of St. Petersburg and has made no mention of an attack on the city itself. They also announced that during the past night, they shot down 389 Ukrainian drones across the country. This comes after Ukraine drew attention earlier in June by attacking oil tanks in the same port.

Human Casualties in Ukraine

Meanwhile, in the city of Sumy, a Russian airstrike has resulted in the deaths of at least four people and injuries to 27 others. According to the Ukrainian President, several individuals are still trapped under the rubble of a residential building. This attack underscores the ongoing brutality of the war and its consequences on human lives.
