Questioning Tourist Awareness
Wearing inappropriate footwear such as Crocs in mountain conditions is an example of negligence towards safety that leads some tourists towards danger. A state parliament representative, during a site visit, addressed this issue and emphasized the need to raise public awareness about mountain hazards. Is it not time to take greater responsibility for our own safety and that of others in nature?
