In a strange and controversial incident at the recent AfD extremist party conference, the famous music of the 'Imperial March' from the film 'Star Wars' was suddenly played in the hall, drawing everyone's gaze. This occurred during the election of new representatives for the party's leadership and caused confusion and many questions among the attendees.
Finding the Source of the Sound
After this incident, technical teams searched for the source of the sound and ultimately discovered four Bluetooth speakers hidden behind a curtain above the hall. This action by the police raised questions about the reason and motive behind this act. One of the party's spokespersons did not provide any explanation about the incident and only referred to security authorities.
While these events did not disrupt the conference, widespread protests also took place outside the venue during the event. Estimates suggest that around 31,000 people participated in the anti-AfD demonstrations and gatherings. Some protest groups even claimed the number of protesters was 50,000.
The Conference Amid Tensions
Despite these protests, the AfD party conference began on time, and the party leaders, Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla, were re-elected as the main representatives. While supporters of the party engaged in discussions inside the conference hall, outside, the crowd of protesters continued their activities vigorously.
