Reports indicate that due to the lack of rainfall, pest control operations against these insects have been minimized, with efforts only made on a few days due to local rainfalls.
Experts say that flies need water for breeding, and currently, conditions are not favorable for them. The breeding of these insects can remain in the soil for years, which is why they are now in a state of waiting for the next rains.
Combating the Asian Fly Species
Meanwhile, the fight against the Asian fly species, which has heavily infiltrated residential areas, continues. These flies can easily find water sources near humans even in dry years. For this reason, preventive operations and health consultations are being carried out.
The organization combating flies, recognized as a non-profit entity, is striving to improve the situation using various resources while also providing necessary information to the public. This organization has held special programs for residents of different areas this year in celebration of its fiftieth anniversary.
