In a serious incident on the A23 highway between the Elmshorn and Tornesch exits, a 36-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured. The accident happened late Sunday afternoon when a 51-year-old woman attempted to overtake the motorcyclist with her vehicle but ignored him, causing a collision.
Details of the Incident
After the collision, the motorcyclist was seriously injured and was immediately taken to the hospital by rescue forces. Fortunately, the car driver was unharmed and emerged from the incident safely. Following this accident, the A23 highway was completely blocked in the direction of Hamburg for several hours. To investigate the cause of the accident more thoroughly, an expert from Dekra was called to the scene.
