In an aviation incident that could have turned into a major disaster, a propeller aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in a vineyard on Sunday in the Bad Dürkheim area due to a technical malfunction in the engine. This flight, which was en route from Landshut to Geilenkirchen, miraculously landed safely without any injuries, with a 61-year-old pilot and one other passenger on board.
Technical Malfunction and Landing in a Vineyard
According to police reports, the technical issue caused the engine of this small aircraft to shut down, and the pilot skillfully managed to land it in a vineyard near Gönnheim, preventing any unfortunate incidents. The estimated damage from this incident has been reported to be around 60,000 euros. The aircraft was severely damaged and has been moved to another location after landing.
