On July 6 and 7, 2026, the Brighthillbrook municipality will undertake mowing in the peripheral areas of the Amper River to ensure the safety and stability of its banks. This action is due to the urgent need to assess potential damage to the banks; as neglecting the condition of the plants in these areas could hinder a thorough examination of the bank structures for three to four months.
The Importance of Maintaining the Amper Banks
Protecting the natural banks is not only related to the safety of citizens but also has a direct impact on the ecosystem and environment. This action by the municipality is actually a wake-up call for other areas; as neglecting this issue could have irreparable consequences.
