Starting July 2026, DHL has decided to implement a new regulation whereby orders under 150 euros from non-EU countries will be subject to a fixed customs fee. This change is designed to simplify the payment process for customers.
Why Are These Changes Important?
Given the increase in online purchases from foreign sources, this action can significantly enhance the shopping experience for customers. Customers will no longer need to worry about calculating customs fees and unexpected taxes, as these costs will be predetermined and transparent.
With this initiative, DHL not only responds to customer needs but also facilitates the overall online trade process. This new regulation could lead to an increase in online purchases from abroad and ultimately contribute to market growth.
